Jess Folley has been crowned the winner of The Voice Kids 2017 in tonight’s results.
The 13 year-old Essex girl stole the show with her rendition of Beyonce’s Love On Top, making Pixie Lott the first ever winning coach in the show’s history – ahead of both Will.i.am and McFly’s Danny Jones.
The other finalists included 12 year-old Courtney, whose funky dance grooves made a stern impression, and 13 year-old Riccardo who wowed viewers with his note-perfect performances. 12 year-old Jake, 14 year-old Erin and 13 year-old Gina also stunned coaches enough to reach this year’s final – and we’re sure they’ll all achieve great things in the music industry should they choose to pursue it.
Newfound champ Jess had previously withstood the dreaded chair-spinning auditions, the fiercely competitive battle rounds against two other youngsters and last night’s high-stakes semi-final. She has nabbed herself a family trip to Disneyland (joined by the other finalists) and a cool £30,000 to contribute to her future music career.
The Voice Kids returns next year on ITV.
