TrueBleeda, An Aspiring Rapper, Died At The Age Of 18 Years Old

Rapper TrueBleeda was shot and died outside the Mall of Louisiana. The renowned artist and Clifton Lindsey were the victims of a drive-by shooting on February 25. The incident occurred at the intersection of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Picardy Avenue around 1:30 p.m. It is trending online since it occurred in broad daylight at one of the city’s busiest junctions.
The Advocate reports that the shooting was not random and involved rival organizations. The majority of the violence in Baton Rouge, according to Police Chief Murphy Paul, occurred in specific regions of the city.
The assailants, according to the authorities, abandoned their bullet-riddled vehicle and were arrested in a second getaway vehicle.
Regarding TrueBleeda
He was an aspiring rap artist who performed under the stage name Donte Dorsey. On Spotify, the 18-year-popularity old’s increased, with approximately 2,800 weekly listens.
Four of his songs had 15,000 plays, and his final video, Soul Survivor, was published three days before to his death on February 22.
In 2021, there were around 149 homicides in Baton Rouge, with more than two dozen involving drive-by shootings or automotive passengers or occupants.
Sharon Weston Broome, the mayor’s president, stated that this is another instance of gun violence in their city. He went on:
This savagery affects the life of every member of our church. Although we strive for the victims’ justice, we must remember that fear cannot control us. To make our city a safer place for everyone, we must all work together to identify and punish criminals.”
Broome also stated that the inhabitants of Baton Rouge deserve to live in a peaceful town and that he is confident they will be able to overcome the challenges to a brighter future if they work together.
Twitter condolences
TrueBleeda gained notoriety for some of the songs he published, despite not having a Wikipedia page. Following the announcement of the artist’s passing, people shared their sorrow on Twitter.
Dorsey’s childhood, educational background, and personal life are currently unknown.
