Isaiah Israel Broussard was born on 22 August 1994 in Gulfport, Mississippi to parents Lawrence Clayton Adams and Angela Clapp. He is the youngest child and has three older sisters. His biological father died when he was four and his mother remarried Gil Broussard, a computer programmer. Later, his stepfather adopted him and his older sister Aubrey. He has a younger half-brother named Keller from his mother’s remarriage.

Broussard with a height of 5 feet 11 inches attended a public elementary school in Saucier. His family took shelter there when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

Israel began his acting career from the 2010 movie Flipped in the role of Garrett Einbinder. In the same year, he appeared in a comedy TV show Romantically Challenged. Moreover, he appeared as Josh in the 2011 comedy The Chaperone and later landed the role of Marc Hall in the 2013 crime film The Bling Ring.

Broussard portrayed the role of Carter Davis in the 2017 movie Happy Death Day. He then reprised his role as Carter Davis in the 2019 sequel Happy Death Day 2U. Furthermore, he appeared in a lead role as Miles in the 2018 science fiction thriller Extinction. He also appeared on TV shows such as Romantically Challenged, Perfect High, Fear the Walking Dead, and Into the Dark.
