After finishing his college football career at Boise State University in Idaho, this running back played professional football for the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins. He and University of Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon were both semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award. While playing football at Damien High School in California, he received the Los Angeles Times’ All-San Gabriel Valley First Team designation and was also recognized as Southern California’s Inland Valley Offensive Player of the Year.
