According to reports, Elton Jantjies admitted to having an extramarital affair with his team’s nutritionist, Zeenat Simjee, and his wife, Iva Ristic.
After being discovered having an affair in a hotel in September 2022, while participating in the test series against New Zealand, the Springbok player and crew were banned and sent home from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
They apparently spent time together, had sex, and enjoyed champagne meals and candlelight.
The management was informed of the reports surrounding the fly-half and team dietitian, according to the Springbok news statement from September 11.
The statement noted that even though no team rules had been broken, the people were going back to South Africa to deal with their personal matters and avoid interfering with the game.
Since then, Elton’s wife and children have moved to Cyprus to be away from the media glare.
